Joined The Italian Higher Education System at EXPO 2025 Osaka 1st Italian and Japanese Rector’s Forum organized by CRUI (May 29, 2025)
The Japan Association of National Universities (JANU) participated in “The Italian Higher Education System at EXPO 2025 Osaka 1st Italian and Japanese Rector’s Forum” organized by the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI) on May 29, 2025, in EXPO 2025 Osaka. Fujisawa Masato, a Vice President of the JANU and President of Kobe University, made a presentation on student and academic exchange between Japanese and Italian universities, and challenges and ideal directions based on the proposal on the Future of National Universities in Japan issued in March, 2025.
Approximately 40 presidents and researchers from Italian and Japanese universities participated in this form, and they spoke and exchanged views on topics such as research and knowledge transfer in various fields, public-private partnerships, and the relationship between universities and stakeholders on global issues.
